Our Services

At Foundational Futures, we provide both comprehensive evaluations and treatment services for a variety of needs. Evaluations help identify a child’s strengths, areas of difficulty, and whether therapy is recommended. If services are needed, we create a personalized treatment plan and provide ongoing therapy sessions tailored to each child’s goals and needs.

Areas of focus:

  • Speech Sound Development & Articulation- Supporting children in producing speech sounds more clearly and accurately to improve overall intelligibility and confidence when communicating. Therapy may target articulation errors, phonological patterns, motor speech planning, sound sequencing, and carryover of speech skills into everyday conversation.

  • Receptive & Expressive Language-
Helping children in understanding and using language to communicate effectively across everyday environments. Therapy may focus on following directions, answering questions, vocabulary development, sentence structure, conversational skills, storytelling, comprehension, grammar, and functional communication to help children express their thoughts, needs, and ideas with greater confidence and success.

  • Literacy (Reading & Writing)-
Supporting children in developing foundational literacy skills needed for academic success and confident communication. Therapy may target phonological awareness, letter-sound correspondence, decoding, fluency, reading comprehension, spelling, and written language skills through evidence-based intervention.

  • AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)-
Supporting children who benefit from additional ways to communicate, including speech-generating devices, communication apps, picture systems, and other AAC methods. Therapy focuses on building functional communication skills to help children express wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas while increasing participation and independence across home, school, and community environments.

  • Social Communication (Pragmatics)-
Supporting children in developing the social communication skills needed to successfully interact with others across everyday environments. Therapy may target conversational turn-taking, understanding social cues, perspective-taking, maintaining topics, problem-solving, emotional awareness, peer interactions, and functional communication skills to build confidence and meaningful social connections.

  • Executive Functioning-
Helping children and adolescents in developing the organization, attention, problem-solving, and self-management skills needed for everyday success. Therapy may target task initiation, planning, sequencing, memory, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and functional communication skills to improve participation across home, school, social, and community environments
